What's been going on?

Check out the above picture and you'll see what is wrong with religion in our country.

big grin I got another hand-me-down computer, though it's a lot better than my last one. It has a flat screen monitor, so we can actually use the desk now.

smile Kiley and I went to Michael's last night, the artsy fartsy store, and I got some clay to play with. I made myself a miniature beer bottle and a knife. I think the knife is pretty awesome, but it will be a lot better once it is painted. I'm afraid though that it will break very easily because the "blade" is fairly thin and delicate, as thin ceramics usually are. Oh yeah, and it was bakeable clay, so you just make what you want, bake it for 15 minutes, and you're good.

LOL My aunt came up for Thanksgiving this year. We had a good time there, and I was very happy Kiley was there to have her first Thanksgiving with our family.

Stuff

sleepy They finally came yesterday to install the overhead light in the bedroom. It's brighter in there now, but it's a wierd soft light.

cool eh? "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap is a pretty awesome song. Just a chick and a vocoder.

crazy There's some ass at our apartment that has an SUV with an alarm on it that is so sensitive, if you park next to it and get out of your car, it will start beeping loudly, warning you to "step off bitch". Unfortunately, the alarm is also so sensitive that it will beep when it rains too. Guess what!? It rained all last night, and that S.O.B. was parked right by our bedroom window! Got sleep? Normally an alarm would deter people from breaking in the car, but when the alarm is annoying and goes off for no reason, that is when common sense sets in and you teach that F&#^@r a lesson and put a damn brick through the windshield. I mean, if the alarm is gonna go off, may as well make it worth it. Y'all feel me?
*A side note*At least we weren't living on 4th street last night, because I guarantee that we would have had some leakage last night with all that rain.

smile Kiley got a dual charger for her iPod that allows her to charge it either in the car or in the apartment, but at the same time she can still play songs while charging. The worst is when you want to listen to the songs, but the iPod is dead and all you can do is wait 4 hours while it plugged into the computer, taking up a USB port and just sitting there. Finally we don't have to deal with that crap. We can listen to it in the car, while charging, and have the backlight lit up 24/7 which is great.

Pat Robertson

crazy How come no one is saying anything back to Pat Robertson. He's the one that said Chavez should be assassinated. I mean, granted the Venezuelan president is a pain in the Bush America's ass, we shouldn't have to deal with him getting pissed at us because of something that a senile prune said. The man is crazy (Robertson, not so much Chavez) and we let him get away with this crap because he's old? Or because he claims to be a follower of a God?

Now what's this shit about him saying that Pennsylvania should watch their backs because God's gonna put the smack down on them. I can't remember the actual city that voted out its school board because they want to introduce fiction into science class (creationism). Robertson said that this town should prepare for God's wrath because they voted out God. Okay, well if this is true, then this God that they voted out would surely know all of the people that did and did not vote him out, and thus, if something were to happen in the town, it would be quite obvious if bad things happened to all the people who voted the board out, and nothing happened to the people that didn't vote him out. At least then we'd know that there's a God, and he best raise his hand, whisper, or stand up or something, because he's losing his chance.

You can't say a whole town or a whole state or a whole country is going to rot in hell because they made a choice about not teaching religion in a PUBLIC school. Do whatever the hell you want in your own private school, but leave the facts and essentials to be taught to our kids in the public schools. I mean what the hell is Sunday school for if it's going to be taught in a regular school. Why go to church on Sunday if you're in church each day at your school.

Back to Robertson though, I'd like to sit down with him and let him know that his old ways and reasoning is not fitting in with our country and we would like to say "you're fired!". The problem is, no matter how many people denounce the stuff he says, it is the religious people in the world that will always feel that they are right and can never be wrong because they are following in the footsteps of the lord, and how can that be wrong? Well once you figure out that there is no lord, you will realize finally that you are just using a different facet of society to corrupt and manipulate people into doing the wills of another. We are not slaves, and we will not tolerate being told what to do any friggin longer! Son of a bitch!
