Shtuff

big grin crying I got my phone in the mail. It's awesome, I mean at least I like it. It's a Nokia 6101, same as the 6102 but offered through T-Mobil. It's black, got a camera on it, a flip phone, with a display screen on the inside and outside, which I can change the background and screen savers for both screens, which is coolio. The only thing I had to pay for was the case that I keep on it. I read reviews of the phone and people said the paint chipped off (not with a case on it), the camera has no zoom (go get yourself a digi), there's not enough memory (get less contacts/pictures). I think it's a pretty sweet phone, it's exactly what I wanted, black flip phone. With the plan it was free so that was great. And it's only a 1-year contract, which is super great. I got tired of my old phone before my first year, even though it was high-tech. I just hope I can pay the bills for it this time around.

QUIT

crazy shocked wink cool eh? crying
Did I mention I quit smoking, again? I had my last one on Thursday on my way home from work, for today after work it will be 4 days. It was quite easy this weekend because there was so much stuff to do and everything was so new that I didn't really have the urge to smoke. I knew I would have a very hard time at work because that is how I spend my breaks and lunches, outside. I have done quite well so far, so I feel that if I can get past a day of work, after 3 days not at work, I will be doing good. It's work that will make me crumble if I do. I have noticed that I can breathe better and I am not constantly noticing that my fingers and breath smell like smoke.

Each time I think about smoking, I just realize that if I had one, I would probably pass out because I know that after not smoking for a few days, smoking again makes me light headed. I can't keep talking about this now or I'll crack. Back to listening to music and surfing the internet in order to keep my mind at ease.

Mooved In

Well we moved into our new apartment and it's pretty great. We got some heat, just in time for this colder weather. Our dryer doesn't work because we need someone who knows what they are doing to hook it up. I installed the old cord but I guess I did it wrong becuase there was a large blue flash that occurred when I closed the dryer door. I was afraid I'd get shocked when I touched it, but that didn't happen.

I got the cable and internet all hooked up and working, and got both stereos hooked up to the TVs so that we have have surround sound with whatever you're watching. That's how I like it.

I ordered a new phone online and the email said I should get it on Friday. I had the phone already ordered last week, but Cingular are being bitches and they didn't have any record of my balance being paid. So the only other carrier that had the phone I wanted, actually it was a Nokia 6101 instead of the 6102, anyway T-Mobile has that phone, and the contract is only a year which is better than Cingular, so I got that going for me. I just wanted a black flip phone. I didn't care what was on it, but it does have a camera. My requirements were that it had to be a Nokia phone because I already have all the accessories for Nokia, as this will be my 3rd Nokia phone.

Getting the Keys

crazy Today we're going to get the keys to our apartment and start to move a few things in. The process could get tedious because we'll have to drive there with only 1 car full of stuff, then drive back and fill up both cars, then drive to the apartment again and unload the stuff. We may even go back for a third time tonight if we have time and stuff to take. It will suck a lot of gas from our cars, but it will save us time trying to do it tomorrow. If we're going to have to do it anyway, we may as well just go ahead and get as much in tonight as we can or want to. I'd like B to get used to the apartment too, but it doesn't look like he'll get to come with us when we get the keys.

Getting ready

Well I sold my N64 and got 58% of my money back from when I originally bought it. I was happy with getting any money really. We're so ready to move into our new (small) apartment. Even since the shower head fell off, we've been counting the days. We'll be able to move stuff in on Thursday night and not have to pay for an extra day, even though our move-in date is on Friday. Luckily I don't have to work on Friday, so I can spend all night moving stuff out there. I'll leave the heavy stuff for the movers, and take stuff like the stereos, maybe the computer, and the clothes and kitchen stuff. If we can get all that stuff in, then the movers will just have to get the heavy furniture and all the boxes. The less they have to carry, the less we have to pay them.

Academas, the seller of all evil

smile big grin cool eh? Well there were enough people out there that wanted a quite old N64 with 15 games, with the winning bid giving me $96 which included shipping charges. Only problem is that today is Columbus Day and the post office isn't open. I already printed out the label for the package and it has the ship date of Oct. 10th which will need to be changed for tomorrow. I'm afraid to do it at the post office because they may weigh my package and charge me again, even though I already paid for shipping. It was based on a guestimate of 10lbs for the package, which maybe up to 15lbs. I'm just pumped that I got some money off it. I mean I paid 50% more for less stuff than I sold, but hey, gotta factor in that depreciation. I just don't want bad feedback on eBay, because that sucks.

I'm trying to figure out what to sell next. I could pawn my Turbo Grafx-16, but one of the cords is chewed from my recently deceased cat, and must be rigged in order to play. Maybe I should just keep it for a few more years. I always thought I could get some cash for it since It's pretty rare and all that.

Buy my stuff!

Go here and buy this stuff now! I don't use it anymore and I need the money anyway, so why not help a brother out and have some fun in the meantime.

Can you believe I payed close to $150 for the N64 with about 4 controllers, 1 game, the value pak and some memory cards? And now here I am selling it with 15 frigging games and I can't even get one damn bid on it. I hate this shi+. It really isn't fair. I guess it was 6 years ago when I bought it, and it was old then, but still, come on, it's a classic and it still works, and they are great games. You got sports games, adventure games, arcade games, first-person shooter games, etc. I mean 15 games! I woulda paid a killing for that, but I guess all those wussies out there want their crappy Playstation 3 or the WackBox 360, or a GamePuke, or a Gaystation Port-o-pot. None of them compare to the reliability of the N64, the greatest console ever. Oh well, who am I kidding, I'm gonna lose money anyway even if no one buys the damn thing. I guess I'd rather no one bid on it so I can stop wasting my time with eBay bastards and sell it to people who will definitely buy...EBGames.
