08/25/2005: "KY State Fair: Louisville, KY"
Yesterday Kiley and I went to the fair. I wanted her to see the "Ugly Lamp Contest" and it was interesting as usual. We also checked out the fish and fishtank competition because those are cool sometimes too. I liked the photography contest because it made me realize that a lot of pictures I have taken could have been entered at the fair.
I ate a burger that didn't strike me as being of "fair quality", more like a McDonald's hamburger, and those are small. Kiley got some "Sha-Wings" and they were pretty good. We got some good grill smells in our noses, as well as some bad cattle smells.
